Want a great adventure sport event in Scotland? Look no further!

No Fuss Events was bornfrom an idea after a few beers in 2004. In 2005 the company launched itself with 10 Under the Ben, still the companys flagship event. In 2010 around 1000 riders of all abilities tackle the world famous trails at Nevis Range Fort William.

In 2007 the No Fuss team ventured away from purely mountain bike events to triathlon and the Big Ben Nevis Triathlon. In 2010 the introduction of a pure running event was introduced into the No Fuss portfolio in the shape of the Outdoor Capital Trail Half Marathon.

So what are No Fuss all about? Well basically they love the outdoors, they love events and the fun, camaraderie and craic. No Fuss have tried to strip back some of the rules and regulations involved with sport that can be a wee bit off putting at times. No Fuss pay attention to what their customers say and by running events which are friendly and fun No Fuss attracted almost 3000 participants in 2010.

2011 is going to be a massive year for No Fuss. The Macavalanche in spring – a downhill event at Glencoe ski resort with helicopter uplift. A 10 hour mountain bike race in England or Wales will see the crew take their first foray across the border. Just to kick the backside out of the 10 hour format No Fuss are introducing a running version, which will be unique to Scotland and promises to be a riot. The calendar will again include the Glen Nevis River Race as featured in Rory and Paddys Even Greater British Adventures.

Also in 2011 are a series of winter duathlons, a beginners triathlon, a half ironman distance triathlon, Tour de Ben Nevis and a 24 hour mtb race. Take some time and have a look at the eventsand plan your year!

  1. Having done numerous No Fuss events over the years, I can confirm that you’ll have a great time! Fantastic atmosphere (even at 3am on a cold October night), great organisation and fantastic courses. Its no wonder my old university cycling club is represented at most mtb events No Fuss run. I’m planning on making a trip across to Scotland this year to coincide with a No Fuss event!
