Good news coming from the Paradiski (La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peissy Vallandry) this week. According to reports in Inthesnow, the resort announced it is using 100% renewable energy to power it’s lifts and all electrical needs.
This is certified by TUV-SUD, ensuring standards are kept high, and claims accurate! By purchasing renewable energy as they are, they are also contributing to the Nature Option Energy (NOE) fund, which finances research, development and construction of new means of renewable electricity production in France.
They now join 60 other ski resorts around the world making similar claims. This green ski resort guide is a useful starting point if you want to know more.
